 RESTRICTED AREA TREK - LOWER DOLPO TREK

Dolpo is Located North West of Nepal; on the isolated corner of Trans Himalayan Zone Dolpo is a virgin and divine land. Flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and Juphal, and you walk down to Dunai district head quitter of Dolpo. From Dunai you flow the thulo Bheri River through trakot and Do-Trap. From Do-Trap you will cross over Numa-La and Baga -La to Shey- Phoksundo Lake. Phoksundo is deepest Lake in entire Himalayan Region Dolpo is famous for snow leopards, Himalayan tahr (mountain goat) and blue sheep. A great Naturalist Rodney Jackson conducted his research on snow leopards in Shey Phoksundo area. Mother Nature created a unique and wonderful treasurer like Dolpo, which is being the shelter of many rare alpine living beings. In spite of tough trails and rugged topography journey to Dolpo area is a life time experience. Tourists rarely visit Dolpo Region and the trekking route is very narrow and steep at places, so good hiking experience is essential for this trek.

Summary :
A Long walk up a steep, uninhabited river valley leads to a high, isolated that is an enclave of Tibetan tradition. Continue from trap to phoksundo lake by crossing two high passes and traversing remote country that is the home of snow leopards.

OUTLINE ITINERARY
Day 01 : pick up from the Int'l Airport, transfer to Hotel & well come diner.
Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley with Guide.
Day 03 : flight to Nepalgunj and over night in Hotel.
Day 04 : Flight to Juphal and Trek to Dunai (2050m).
Day 05 : Dunai to Tarakot (2520m).
Day 06 : Tarakot to Khani Gaun (2540m).
Day 07 : Khani Gaon to Chheur (3610m).
Day 08 : Chheur to Sishu Khola (3770m).
Day 09 : Sishukhola to Do Tarap (4150m).
Day 10 : Do Tarap to Tok-khyu High camp (4180m).
Day 11 : Tok-Hhyu to High camp to Pelung Tang (4665m).
Day 12 : Pelungtang to Dajok Tang (4080m).
Day 13 : Dajok Tang to Phoksundo Lake (3728m).
Day 14 : Phoksondo Lake to Chekpa (2260m).
Day 15 : Chekpa to Juphal (2490m).
Day 16 : Flight Back to Nepalgunj and Kathmandu.
Day 17 : Free day in Kathmandu/shopping.
Day 18 : Transfer to International Airport and fly home.
