 East Nepal Region - MAKALU BASE CAMP & SHERPANI COL

Makalu is the 5th Highest mountain in the world and this is near by the top of the world (Mt. Everest). This region is blessed with an incredible diversity of natural beauty and culture. Due to its isolation and lack of tea houses this area still receives few trekkers. Gurung, Rai & Sherpa are the main habitants in this area. Walking north of the Arun River to Sedua and then crossing Barun La (4110m.) into the upper Barun Khola valley for a close look at Makalu. This trek is not difficult on till Makalu base Camp and same way retron back to Tumlingtar. Sherpani col, west col is highest trekking rote 6100m. For this trekking you need experience sirdar and shrepa.because west col and Amphulapcha 5800m. is very challenging pass. But you will have fantastic view of Mountain, Glacier Lake and Hungu valley. Than you trek continues khumbu region and you will pass throw shrepa village and Lukla. Also you can do hungu valley, via Mera-la and Mera peak to Lukla. For this trip you need fully camping trek, sirdar, Sherpa, cook and porter. Also you need fully climbing gear. Like, plastick shoes, crampons, Ice-Ax, Rope, Ice-scru, snow-Va.

Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.
Day 03 : Fly Kathmandu to Tumlingtar.
Day 04 : Trek to Maney Bhanjyang.
Day 05 : Trek to Chichila.
Day 06 : Trek to Num.
Day 07 : Trek to Seduwa.
Day 08 : Trek to Tashi Gaun.
Day 09 : Rest in Tashi Gaun for acclimatization.
Day 10 : Trek to khongba danda.
Day 11 : Trek to Dobato.
Day 12 : Trek to Yangle kharka.
Day 13 : Trek Merak.
Day 14 : Trek to Sersung.
Day 15 : Trek to Makalu Base Camp.
Day 16 : Trek to Glacier Camp -1.

East Nepal Region
