At the airport, a representative from our office and a driver in a private vehicle will be waiting to pick you up. After that, you'll be driven to the hotel where you'll spend the night. You will eventually meet your guide to discuss the trek and any equipment, documentation, or other necessities you may have while on the trek. You can simply buy or rent equipment and apparel in the Thamel area if you don't have any. After preparation for the trek, you can enjoy a relaxing walk through Thamel if you have time.
Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by reguar tourist bus. Usually, “Tourist “ buses depart at 7:00 am from Kathmandu and take 6-7 hours depending on road conditions. After arriving at the hotel, take a break if you're tired or go for a walk around the Lakeside or maybe paddle some of the lakes. Overnight at the hotel.
After
breakfast, we will go by private vehicle to Nayapul in the morning. The
beginning of the hiking trail in Nayapul is reached after roughly 1.5 hours of
winding through the picturesque countryside driving. Starting from Nayapul, our
trip will take around 5 hours to reach Ulleri Village, where we will spend the
night. Along the way, we will travel through subtropical woods, river banks,
and settlements.
After breakfast in the morning, we will move on to Ghorepani, our next stop. We'll be trekking through the dense rhododendron forest shortly after leaving Ulleri. Rhododendron blooms in the springtime that makes the forest colorful. We will pass by the small villages of Nangethati and Banthati on our way to Ghorepani. A large Magar community known for its breathtaking views of the Annapurna range, intact culture, and distinctive home design is Ghorepani. Ghorepani is located at a height of (2874m/9429 ft), it will take about 4-5 hours. We'll spend that night in Ghorepani.
We will be hikingl to Poon Hill (3210m/10531ft) in the early morning before sunrise for a breathtaking sunrise views. It is a significant location for anyone hoping to witness the magnificent sunrise over the Annapurna Mountains. There are well over 20 snow-capped peaks visible, some of which are Annapurna I (8,091m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Fishtail (6,993m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Annapurna II, and Annapurna III. After breakfast at Ghorepani , we will continue our trekking to Tadapani. We will cross a rocky track that leads deep into a forest that is dotted with streams and waterfalls. We will arrive in Tadapani after a 5- to 6-hour trek, and we will spend the night there. You have good chances to see some wild animals and birds on this trail today.
After breakfast, we'll
make our way down to Ghandruk, a significant Gurung community. Today's trail is
almost entirely hidden by a thick forest abounding wild flora and fauna. You'll
still enjoy stunning views of the mountains, such as Himalchuli, Annapurna
South, and Mt. Fishtail. Ghandruk is a traditional and well-preserved cultural
village. When you arrive there, you'll have an opportunity to look at the
community and connect with the residents. Following that, we'll spend the
evening in Ghandruk taking in some traditional dancing and singing about their
ethnic group. Lunch at Ghandruk and explorations around and then drive about two hours to
POkhara.
